March 14. What is not to love about pi/pie day? We were inspired by these guys to try our hand at baking some pies to celebrate the festive day. We made 3 delicious pies in hopes to share it with friends and family. Turns out, we invited people too late and thought no one would show up. Luckily, a few did and we all indulged together. The winners: 1-the strawberry pie filling and 2-the amazing flaky crust on the apple pie from this gal's cookbook
