girl's night

To celebrate our husband's finishing yet another exam and to take a break
from our kiddos, some of us med school moms had a night on the town. Yay!
We ate dinner on the patio at Liberty Market and chatted and chatted.
It has been really fun to get to know these girls.
I may have mentioned some of them before.
Left to right: me (how could you forget!),
Emily (in denim jacket): she has a daughter who is 2 years old.
They are from Alaska and are dying from the heat. She threw the amazing Halloween party.
Becky (blond hair): she has 2 kids and is expecting #3. From Utah. Also a photographer-and an awesome one!  She was the first person I met when we got here. Her husband helped us move in
and we celebrated the 4th of July together.
Heidi (white jacket): Also from Utah. Still considered a newlywed. Fun fact: we sat next to each other in high school band i.e. she plays the flute too. Also went to BYU and I never saw her there. Now, we are back in the same town. Loves art probably because her dad is an artist. Ever heard of these children's books? I own Snowmen at Night! Ya, her mom wrote them.
Her dad illustrated them. How cool is that?
Sadie (in the purple shirt): she is from Washington state, has 3 boys, expecting #4
(which is a girl!). Her current hobby is killing scorpions because their house is infested.
Recently, she saw 3 crawling across the ceiling WHILE the exterminator was there (he thought she was crazy since she told him they saw scorpions day and night.) Well, there is his proof!
Such a fun night with these gals!
