Talmage's Christmas Playdate

We've had a lot of fun this Christmas season. Talmage wanted to host a Christmas playdate and so we invited 5 of his friends over to paint ornaments, decorate sugar cookies, and play pin-the-star on the Christmas tree outside. Talmage said his favorite part was making the gingerbread men (decorating the cookies). He poured about half the bottle of sprinkles on his cookie. Go big or go home...that's my motto.
A few days before, Talmage and I crafted Rudolph goodie bags (he had wanted to make these since last year!) for his friends to take home after the playdate. I thought they turned out adorable and Talmage is really quite handy with cutting and taping things together. He can finish a roll of tape in a sitting so you gotta keep an eye on that boy.
I'd say the playdate was a success with the group of six 4-year olds. No tears, no fighting, and not too big of a mess. They played and ate a snack outside which is a joy of December in Arizona.
Thanks Talmage for being my party partner in crime. You're the best! Now T wants to plan his birthday party....Can't ever be too prepared, right?!
