Labor Day weekend

FYI: Scott's school does not like to observe holidays.
Sure, they had Labor Day off, but had a test the next morning
which means they really don't have the day off.

Heidi (her husband goes to school with Scott), T, and I
spent the weekend together with these festivities:

-Hiking Mt Lemmon. It is supposed to be 30 degrees
cooler on the mountain than in the valley. Ya, I couldn't tell a difference
and was looking forward to some respite from the heat.
There is even a ski resort at the top! I will get back to you regarding
the "snow" come winter.
T wanted to hug every big tree that we walked by. Hurray for
tree huggers! It was great to see the color green too.
One hiker commented to me, "Does your OB know you are here?"
Who said pregnant people can't hike??

-We busted out some homemade cinnamon rolls which made our
studying hubbies very happy. If you haven't ever tried any of the
Pioneer Woman's recipes you should repent. You should also
repent because you might die from all the fatty goodness she
puts in her food.

-Hope you had a happy Labor Day!
