Kids Night Out + Our Night Out

A mom in our ward named Jenny (and also the Beehive advisor I serve with) along with her teenage kids hosted a super fun Kids Night Out one Friday evening and we decided to take advantage of it since spots were limited. Such a fun idea for her kids to earn a little babysitting money, but to have the help of their mom. Talmage and Afton had a blast eating pizza and popsicles, playing with toys, and having a movie night. They stayed up later than usual which they were also pumped about (and then super tired the next day). Jenny sent me these pictures of the kids devouring their popsicles. We strolled around downtown for our date (yay!!!) and ended up at a local Italian restaurant where we indulged in an assortment of cheeses on a wooden cheese board and then stuffed ourselves to the brim with Gnocchi. As we were driving home, we might have stopped at Yogurtland; it's far from our house so we just had too. It was a great evening to celebrate the end of our 3rd year in med school!
