Let's Venture Out

The town of Millcreek hosted Venture Out weekends throughout the summer and one evening we decided to see what it was all about. They had lots of fun activities and we tried everything from games, the kids got cool balloons from a balloon artist, ate dinner from local food trucks, danced to live (off tune) music, and much more as you'll see. Such a fun night with the family and the perfect weather. Gotta love those Utah summer nights!

 Grandpa taught Talmage how to rope a calf because he is one experience guy when it comes to farm life...

 Elsa! Seriously, the balloon man was one talented guy. Afton can say Elsa too which is adorable. Anything related to Frozen she says, " Go!" from the song "Let It Go"

 The balloon man made Talmage a dinosaur that was almost as big as him!

 Food truck time for dinner! Frozen hot chocolate was definitely the highlight for all of us. Such a good summer treat.

 I don't know how she gets her hands on my phone without me knowing. As I've mentioned before, we're going to have to get her an unlimited minutes plan. Love her little leg cock! What a tease.

 This girl took over grandpa's cherry lemonade and thought she was big stuff drinking with a straw and holding the cup. She was also very focused on it for a minute.

 Talmage felt pretty cool in the firetruck and taking a picture with the fireman. He said he got a fireman sticker badge, but it wasn't real like the fireman had.

 This was mom's first time in a fire truck and she was thrilled to be sitting in the drivers seat. Now she can mark that off her bucket list!

T looks like he's choking Morgan, but that was his forced smile so that he could be finished with the picture fest. Aren't uncles the best?!
