we're thankful for...

This Thanksgiving we were all thankful for the same thing: that Scott could spend the day with us. His life has been a whirlwind of traveling and crazy hours which kind of feels like our life (the kids and I) is a little out of control too.
Our friends hosted Thanksgiving and it was such a beautiful day-the temperature was in the mid 80's! We went on a family bike ride in the morning before stuffing our faces. We're so blessed to have the Lefevre & Cannon families to spend Thanksgiving with. The kids had a blast with friends and the adults were lucky enough to squeeze in a game together.

The next day, we all headed up to Gilbert. Scott went to Phoenix Children's Hospital where he's doing a month long rotation. The kids and I went to hang out with Ashleigh & Justin's family. I took family photos for them and then we tagged along with their extended family to visit the Gilbert temple and dinner at a favorite spot: Joe's Farm Grill. Games with Justin's family was fun and we spent the night at their house. It was a quick visit, but always great to be with them.

On Saturday the 4 of us headed to the Phoenix Children's Museum and enjoyed every second of it!! The kids were in heaven with a plethora of fun things to do and it was a nice change of pace for all of us. We ran across the street for an early delicious lunch at another favorite place: Pizzeria Bianco and then went back to the museum. After an awesome time together, we said goodbye to Scott and will see him in a week... since he had to work and will also be going to more interviews.
